Dear Parents/Guardians,
The English Department are delighted to inform you that we have secured tickets to the Gaiety School of Acting’s interactive performance of this year’s Junior Cycle play, ‘The Merchant of Venice.’ This interactive performance focuses on key scenes and monologues within the play. Furthermore, this production culminates in a stagecraft and production workshop, all with the Junior Cycle paper in mind.
The performance will take place at 10am in the Clasac Theatre, Clontarf, on Friday 26th January. The cost of this trip is €20 per student, inclusive of ticket (€15) and bus (€5). This can be made payable through EasyPayments (under 3rd Year Trip: Merchant of Venice Gaiety 26.01.2024). We kindly ask that this be made in advance of the trip.
Students must wear their full school uniform and will leave school at 8.40am, returning for their last two classes.
