Body and Soul Week was packed with events for each year group this year. The focus of Body and Soul Week is to highlight the role physical health plays in improving and maintaining good mental health. We like to introduce students to as many means of improving their mental health as possible throughout the week.
We held events including: Kickboxing Workshops, Yoga Workshops, SpunOut Workshops, Mile a Day Challenge, Nutrition and Exercise Presentations, Temple Talk Presentations which were enjoyed by our 6thyear group, mindfulness and mediation sessions, and a Spinathon Event in aid of Pieta House which raised almost €3,000 for the charity.
We would like to thank anyone who donated money to Pieta House and also a number of people, including Hollingsworth Cycles, who loaned us turbos and bicycles for the day.
